Congratulations to our band for their success at the Music in the Parks competition in Orlando this weekend. Our Jazz Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble placed first in their divisions with Excellent ratings, the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble placed first in their divisions with Superior Ratings, and the Wind Ensemble earned the best over all high school band! Joel Rivera was honored as the best jazz soloist, and Plainedge High School was awarded the coveted Esprit de Corps Award given to only one school at the entire competition for being the best overall school in citizenship spirit!
