Second graders performed a

Reader's Theater version of

"Dinosaur Survival School"

In the play, dinosaurs attended school to learn survival hints for protecting themselves from predators.

 

We did this while studying reptiles, a part of our unit on vertebrate animal groups.

 

 

The students above performed in costumes ranging from a long tail to "flick," big puffy stuffed legs to "stomp," and horns to "poke" predators. Some students completed research outside of school to learn about the different dinosaurs: The Dipoldocus, Supersaurus, T-Rex, Triceratops, and Stegasaurus.

 

Four different groups performed as seen below.
