Peter Porrazzo joined the Plainedge School District in March of 2011.
He brings over 25 years of financial experience in both Public Accounting and Private Industry to Plainedge.
Mr. Porrazzo received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Hofstra University, a Master’s Degree in Education from LIU Post and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Studies from the State University at Stony Brook. He is also a New York State licensed CPA.
The Business Office is responsible for the day-to-day management of the community-approved budget and the preparation of the budget each year. Additionally, individuals in the business office are responsible for management of the District’s financials, purchasing, accounts payable, employee benefits, fixed assets and payroll.
