FIELD DAY 2006

JUNE 20, 2006

     Mrs. Connolly and Mrs. Smith were our Chairpersons for Field Day this year.  They organized all the parents that volunteered to help out on Field Day, wrote out all the passes for the volunteers and visitors, got the refreshments and hats for our students, and got the DJ (Mr. Price and his son Chris) for our continued entertainment.  Mrs. Connolly and Mrs. Smith did a fantastic job in spite of all the rain delays we had.  Mrs. Brennan got the circus performance for us which the third, fourth, and fifth grade students got to see on our rain date.

     I would like to thank the Leaders, Mr. Bob, Mr. Ed, Ms. DeSena, and Mr. Fratrik for helping to set up Field Day.  A big thank you also goes out to the parents who volunteered to run the stations and of course Mrs. Connolly and Mrs. Smith.  You did a fantastic job as usual. Thanks also to Mr. Price, our DJ, for keeping us on time and dancing. Also a big thank you goes to the many Middle School students who came out and helped run some of our events and helped put the equipment away after field day. One last thank you goes to Ms. Debbie Fallon who put the Field Day schedule up on my web site.    

     The final score for Field Day this year was :

                      RED TEAM - 3940         WHITE TEAM - 3650

The Red Team won this year by the higher amount of points they scored, but I think you were all winners as long as you tried your best and had fun doing it.
