Artist of the Quarter

    Is a contest of sorts, where students can enter in artwork they have created at home.  Artwork can be rendered on any type of paper using any material you can think of.  The sky is the limit, the more creative the better.

        As an Art teacher I understand that students need to create and express themselves.  A positive way to do this is to get their thoughts and emotions down on paper.  This contest is just a means by which they can do such a thing.  It is not a mandatory assignment and I do not need artwork from each and every student.  However, on a rainy day when there is nothing to do, your little artist may want to create something and later drop it off in the art room for consideration.

        At the end of each quarter all submitted work will be carefully reviewed and a few outstanding pieces will be selected for display in one of our beautiful showcases.  Students will also receive an award signifying their creativity.

All artwork must include Name, Grade, and Teacher.
