Homework

   Homework will be given each night.  You can locate all homework that needs to be done and any other important information regarding upcoming tests, etc. in your child's planner.  All homework and tests must be signed by a parent.  Please go over your child's homework with him/her.  Help him/her correct any errors there may be.  After doing this, you can indicate the questions which were difficult for your child or those which had to be redone with a dash, star, etc. next to that question.  This will help me know how much difficulty your child is having on an assignment and which types of questions he/she may need help with. 

   It is also important that your child read for at least 15 minutes per night. I can't stress enough how important this is.  In order to become a better reader, a child must read.

   In addition, your child should practice number facts each evening.  This needs to be no more than 5 to 10 minutes each night.
