Grading System

Your child's work is graded on the same scale in which report card grades are given.  Report card grades evaluate PARTICIPATION, SKILL, and CONDUCT.

Motivation/Effort:  Does your child actively participate in completing the projects?  Does your child make an effort to raise their hand and answer questions?  Students should focus on the art project we are creating and take an active role in its completion.

Skill/Ability:  Student abilities and effort given.  I look for talent and perseverance.  TRY TRY TRY!

Conduct/Behavior: Does your child behave well while in art class?  Children are expected to behave and follow the class rules. Students should make good choices.   Art is a classroom like any other and should be treated accordingly.
