Using Good Manners

With Others:
Treat people like you want to be treated, say please and thank you.  Don't use unkind words with anyone.  Listen to what others have to say.  Do not interrupt when they are talking.

At Mealtime:
Quietly sit at your assigned table and wait until you are called to get on line.  Once you have your lunch, go back to the table and sit with your legs under the table when eating.  Talk quietly and politely to your neighbors.  Clean up your space when you are finished.  Wait patiently until your table is called for recess.

Resolving Conflicts

Stop and take a deep breath.
Discuss what you think the problem is.
Discuss a way to solve the problem calmly.
Ask for help if you are unable to agree.

Other Ideas

If your feelings have been hurt, discuss it with the person who hurt them.
Use the word, "excuse me" if you have bumped into someone.
Try to be a good problem solver, see if you can solve your own problems.
