Classroom Philosophy

I believe that parents are the most important person in their child’s life.  They are the key to their child’s success.  Research has shown that with parental support and motivation, children’s achievement levels rise.  That is why it is vital that we work together to help your child succeed.  I promise to do my best to educate your child, but I can’t do it without your support.

            I believe children learn best in a comfortable environment where they develop independence, responsibility, organizational skills, and respect for one another.  I encourage children to take risks and not be afraid to ask for help.  I want children to learn to trust their own judgment.  Mine is a child centered classroom where students develop a positive concept of self in order to achieve success.
