Journals    

Don’t worry, this will be fun!  There will be many interesting topics to write about.  Journals will be strictly your opinion.  There will be no research involved.

What are the Journals all about?

Ÿ         Journal topics will be assigned at the beginning of each week

Ÿ         Journal entries will be due every Monday (if we do not have school on Monday, then the journal will be due on Tuesday)

Ÿ         Journals can be either typed or written on loose-leaf

Ÿ         Journal entries must be stored in the Journal section of your binder

Journal Entry Format:

Name                                                            Date                            

Title:  The Journal Topic/Question

          Your response must be written in complete sentences.  Journals will solely be based on your opinion.  Remember, journal topics and questions are designed to allow you to fully express your thoughts and opinions.  You will not have to share you journal entries with the rest of the class unless you choose to do so.  Journal entries should be at least 8 - 10 sentences long.
