Journeys Through Native American Territory

Thanks to the generosity of the PTA, Schwarting 4th graders got to spend three days immersed in Indian culture through the "Journeys Through Native American Territory" program. Over the three days, the students participated in various workshops. They had the opportunity to make clay pots, talking sticks, learn about Indian government, and listen to many, many stories through the tradition of oral storytelling, just to make a few. It was an experience the students will never forget!
