Jump Rope for Heart Success at Schwarting Elementary School! |
On February 25, 2009, 4th and 5th grade students jumped all over heart disease and stroke by participating in Jump Rope for Heart. The entire school helped raise more than $11,000 for the American Heart Association. Funds raised for Jump Rope for Heart help fight disease and stroke, the Nations No. 1 and No. 3 killers.
Jump Rope for Heart is a program designed to promote physical fitness and heart health through the fun activity if jumping rope. It is co-sponsored by the American Heart Association and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
