On October 19th, the Foot & Fiddle Dance Company presented 'American Footsteps' to our Schwarting students and faculty members. This program is a dancing and fiddle playing extravaganza that traces and demonstrates the history and origin of American folk dance. Students experienced amazing live fiddle playing, and viewed clogging, Irish dance, African step dance and even participated in a traditional square dance. A huge thank you goes to Nancy Bugge, Schwarting Elementary School's Arts in Education Chairperson for making this wonderful program possible.
