Our Tree Dedication Ceremony

        On September 11th, 2002 our school remembered the tragic events of one year ago.  We gathered in the courtyard, said the Pledge of Allegiance and sang the Star-Spangled Banner together.  Then we planted a tree in honor of our local heroes who helped our country on September 11th, 2001.  The tree will grow like the admiration we feel for those heroes.  We will look at the tree and reflect upon how fortunate we are to live in a community filled with heroes, large and small.
