During the week of March 11-15, we celebrated Foreign Language Week! Throughout the week, our students:
– Created posters for the annual poster contest
– Decorated letters with symbols and colors from the flag of their cultural heritage
– Created their own portraits out of pictures of fruits and vegetables like Italian artistĀ GiuseppeĀ Arcimboldo
– Learned about Kente Cloth making in Ghana and recreated their own pattern by weaving paper
– Created their own Talavera Tiles from Mexico with paper
– Tasted delicious treats from around the world & so much more
