Annual School Budget Vote
Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 6 AM-9 PM

Voter Eligibility & Registration

If you are registered to vote with the Nassau County Board of Elections or with the school district, you are eligible to vote in the 2026-2027 School District Budget and Board Election.  Residents may register any school day until May 14, 2026 (five days before the vote) 9:00 AM-3:30 PM at the Central Administration Office, located at 241 Wyngate Drive, North Massapequa.

In order to vote in the School District Budget and Board Election, a person must be:

  1. A citizen of the United States
  2. 18 years of age or older
  3. A resident of the district for 30 days prior to voting.
  4. A registered voter in either the school district, state, or national elections.

Absentee Ballots/ Early Mail In

The submission of absentee ballot applications must be received by the District Clerk seven days before the election if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter (May 12, 2026) or the day before the election if the ballot is to be issued to the voter in person (May 18, 2026).

The Plainedge PTA , in conjunction with Plainedge Federation of Teachers, are offering a new fundraiser for the Plainedge community. 

On Wednesday, June 17th from 5-8 PM, we will host a fundraiser event at Urban Air in Lake Grove. At this time, the park will be exclusively used by the Plainedge Community. Tickets are $35 per participants which includes a pair of socks (this is a $49 value). Only those participating in the activities need a ticket to participate. Parent/guardians enter for free.
