Golden Years – Plainedge Senior Citizen Community: If you have any questions please call our district offices at (516) 992-7450.
Plainedge Gold Card Program: It is our way of saying thank you for your support of our schools. All residents of the Plainedge School District who are 60 years of age or over are eligible for membership in the Gold Card program. Upon receipt of a completed membership form, Seniors will receive a Gold Card in the mail within a few days. Please show the pass when entering a Plainedge Schools event.
Gold Card members receive:
- Free admission to District-sponsored activities and events, including regular-season home athletic events and concerts.
- Invitation to a special matinee performance of the high school musical in the Spring as well as a reception before the show.
- A private tour of the District Art Show, which showcases the very best artwork produced by our students throughout the year.
- $10.00 Discount per class for Adult Education course
For events which require reserved tickets because of limited seating capacity, Gold Cards may be used to acquire one ticket in advance of the performance date. We have other events in the planning stage, so if you are interested in knowing what we have in store, or if you have suggestions or want to join our advisory board, please sign up! Senior Citizens on the Gold Card mailing list also receive special mailings to stay informed about the events available in the Plainedge Public School District.

All completed forms may be delivered in person to Central Administration, Office of the Superintendent, 241 Wyngate Dr., N. Plainedge Fitness Center information and eligibility
Fitness Center Hours: Monday-Thursday (5:00 PM-8:50 PM ) Saturday & Sunday (8 AM- 11:50 AM) * Plainedge Fitness Center is ONLY open when school is in session. Questions Call: (516) 992-7641 or email fitness.center@plainedgeschools.org
How to apply for a membership:
1. Visit the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android) on your mobile device to download The Plainedge Fitness Center App or scan the QR code.
2. Open the Plainedge Fitness Center App scroll down to “register”
3. Register using your email address and create a password
4. After pressing next, enter your “First” and “Last Name” then press next to continue
5. Enter your cell phone number and date of birth, then press next
6. You will then be prompted with our “Studio Waiver”. Please read the entire “Waiver and Release from Liability” and then press “ Start Signing”
7. Place your signature in the red box, and then press “accept and sign,” then press “finished”
8. When the “Welcome Message” appears please check your email to get to the link to upload your license through cognito forms.
9. Give staff 24-48 hours to approve your membership

Creating Our Beautiful World 🌎🎨
This week, our 9:1:3 students partnered with APE Peer Mentors and Best Buddies to bring a special mural project to life! Guided by artist Mr. Dinaro, students worked together to paint two vibrant panels celebrating the beauty, diversity, and wonder of our world.
The project showcased creativity, teamwork, inclusion, and friendship as students and staff collaborated to create a lasting piece of artwork that reflects the spirit of our school community.
